As this school year officially closes, I would like to thank all our families for their partnership this year. While we were still greatly impacted by COVID-19, the joys of being in-person again outweighed the challenges we faced. We were resilient and demonstrated all our core values of PRIDE: partnership, responsibility, inquiry, determination, and empathy. Thank you, all.
End of Year Mailing
We will be mailing home your child’s final report card and updated transcript by the end of this week. Please be on the look-out. Should you need a digital copy of your child’s records, please email info@qhsls.org or call our school.
Summer Office Hours and Contact Information
Our office will be open between 9AM-2PM Monday through Friday. Should you need to make an appointment for a phone call or meeting outside of these times, please email info@qhsls.org.
Free Summer Meals Sites
Free summer meals at DOE schools began on June 28th! Breakfast will be served 8AM–9:15AM, and hot lunch from 11AM–1:15PM. You can find more information here, or text “NYC Food” to 304-304.
Please note our campus is not open for summer meals. The closest location to us is at JHS 185 Edward Bleeker.
2022-2023 School Year Calendar
You can find the 2022-2023 school year calendar here. We are still determining orientation dates for new and returning students. The first day of school will be Thursday, September 8th.
